As two ski bums who traveled the globe chasing the best mountains and resorts the world has to offer, it has lead us to opening BUTTER INN in the one of the snowiest places on earth. HAKUBA. Where the snow is quality all season long, from mellow resort riding, to heart racing tight tree skiing, to unbelievable backcountry powder! The mountains in the Hakuba valley have something for everyone.
Butter inn is located in the northern end of the valley sitting at 850m above sea level with
Norikura ski resort wrapping around allowing ski inn/ski out access to norikura and cortina resorts. With a new lift added in 2023 it boasts some of the best riding in the valley. Come and see for yourself, it will not disappoint!!

”I stayed at Butter Inn for 3 weeks in Feb. It's in the best location for ski in/out or Norikura. I stayed in both the bunk room and the private room which were super clean and comfortable. Amazing vibe, everyone there was so friendly. My favourite part of the lodge was the living room where you could sit in front of the fire and watch the snow fall. Can't wait to go back next year when they have the bar downstairs.
